Donde empiezan los nuevos comienzos

Hola, soy Pía. En febrero de 2026 estuve haciendo un voluntariado en Diani, Kenia, y conocí la realidad de muchas madres adolescentes que han sido víctimas de abuso o se han quedado solas con sus bebés, sin apoyo ni recursos.

Africachild es un proyecto que les ofrece un espacio seguro donde pueden vivir junto a sus bebés mientras reciben apoyo, educación y formación profesional. Allí encuentran algo que muchas nunca han tenido: seguridad, acompañamiento y la oportunidad de un futuro mejor.

Ahora, 8 de estas chicas están a punto de salir del centro para empezar una nuera etapa. Y ahí aparece el desafío más grande: cómo generar ingresos para mantener a sus hijos. Por eso creamos esta campaña.

Nuestro objetivo es recaudar fondos para ofrecer a cada una materiales básicos para empezar una pequeña actividad que les ayude a ser independientes. Se les dotará de un pack para iniciar pequeños negocios como:

• ✂️💄 peluquería y belleza
• 🧵👗 costura y arreglos de ropa

Pequeñas herramientas que aquí parecen simples, pero allí pueden significar poder salir adelante por sí mismas.

€250 funds a 'Future, Opportunity, and Independence Kit' so that 8 young mothers can start their small business in Kenya

Hi, I’m Pía. In February 2026, I did a volunteer program in Diani, Kenya, and got to know the reality of many young mothers who have been victims of abuse or have been left alone with their babies, without support or resources.

Africachild is a project that offers them a safe space where they can live with their babies while receiving support, education, and vocational training. There, they find something many have never had: security, guidance, and the opportunity for a better future.

Now, 8 of these girls are about to leave the center to start a new stage in their lives. And that’s where the biggest challenge appears: how to generate income to support their children. That’s why we created this campaign.

Our goal is to raise funds to provide each of them with basic materials to start a small activity that will help them become independent. They will receive a starter kit for small businesses such as:

• ✂️💄 Hairdressing and beauty
• 🧵👗 Sewing and clothing alterations

Small tools that may seem simple here, but there, they can mean the power to move forward on their own.

Every donation, no matter how small, counts!
