Cooperating NGO Daycare

Many communities in Uganda face a pressing challenge that directly affects single mothers: limited access to affordable and reliable childcare services.

To address this, Cooperating NGO has launched a daycare project in the Nyabukara community. The key reasons behind this initiative include:

• Support for single mothers: Mothers in Nyabukara often struggle to balance childcare with the need to work and support their families.
• Early childhood development: A free daycare center ensures children receive the care and stimulation essential for their cognitive, emotional, and social growth.

The daycare will serve 15–20 children aged 1 to 8 and focus on three core activities:

• Meals: Children will be provided with breakfast and lunch during their stay.
• Teaching: Classes will be conducted to foster education and learning.
• Playtime: Play will serve as a central tool for learning and development.
