GLORIOUS AL-ANDALUS

We need your help to be able to carry out our cultural and charitable work to disseminate and keep updated the glorious past of Al-Andalus.

CULTURAL PURPOSES

Disseminate globally the legacy of Al-Andalus to highlight its importance and its influence on western culture. Fot this, we want to carry out all kinds of cultural events to disseminate andalusian music, art, poetry... through exhibitions, conferences and any artistic performance that makes this legacy known. Likewise, with the collaboration of expert arabists and archaeologits, carry out campaigns to locate and search for architectural, artistic and documentary remains, either through excavations or research in archives and libraries to make them known, cataloging and conservation.

Teaching of the spanish language by volunteers from the Association to achieve the linguistic immersion necessary to lead a normalized life in their social environment and avoid the isolation caused by solitary confinement.

CHARITABLE PURPOSES

Help the group of older people through direct action with periodic visits at home to check their situation and help them carry out the steps that due to their physical condition or languages they cannot carry out. We will give them finantial aid for orthopedic, dental, glasses... being attended at all times by trained personnel and volunteer geriatricians from the Association.

Promote the creation and conservation, within the national territory, of Muslim cemeteries, today practically non-existent and necessary due to the rapid growth of this population. Always with the collaboration of the Autonomous Communities and Town Halls to adapt them to the laws and sanitary conditions already established and to the Islamic religious norms.
